CARIS Workshop\Hypack Training
CARIS Data Processing Workshop
Please join CARIS for a workshop covering processing and data management using CARIS software. The workshop will examine the latest HIPS multibeam data processing techniques and management of bathymetric and topographic data using Bathy DataBASE. Specific HIPS topics will include setup of a project and vessel information file, RESON sonar data conversion, and creation of gridded BASE Surfaces, in addition to an emphasis on water column imaging technology. Topics for further data analysis and processing in Bathy DataBASE will include compilation of legacy bathymetry and topographic data for comparison to recently collected data.

The 1 day workshop will focus on Reson multibeam systems integration, calibration, data collection and 64 bit processing using our HYPACK and HYSWEEP packages
Some of the enhancements of new HYSWEEP Editor:
? Utilizes 64-bit processors.
? Expanded memory access allows for loading larger files.
? CLOUD incorporated into Stage 3
? New and improved spike filter.
? Can display unlimited number of beams per ping.
